Zenimax workers vote to achieve Microsoft negotiations
America Union’s communication workers have announced today that they are negotiating Zenimax Media members – the parent company Bethesda And thanks to the acquisition of $ 69 billion, a subsidiary of Microsoft – voted to resolve a strike against Microsoft. According to CWA, this comes after more than a year of unsuccessful negotiations for the first contract between the two.
Zenimax United-Cwa workers voted 94% for their leaders to allow the strike, saying that Microsoft failed to provide a contract with them after nearly two years of negotiations. They were bargaining for “better salaries, improvements to the workplace and key concerns, including a lack of remote work options and the company’s replacement for the internal work to ensure quality with the output to external labor contractors without notifying the Union.”
Previously, CWA had charged a disloyal work practice against Microsoft. He also organizes one -day strikes in which the members of Zenimax Workers Onited came out of the company’s offices in Maryland and Texas. The Union issued a statement at that time, saying, “We are not afraid to do everything we need to make sure that Microsoft welcomes us to the negotiation table on key problems such as remote work and outsourcing options.”
