Some of Hollywood’s biggest names star in this week’s most notable new releases streaming. On Prime Video, Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell team up for the wedding comedy You’re Cordially Invitation, while Sterling K. Brown is teaming up again with This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman for the new Hulu series, Paradise.

Rob McElhenny might be the hardest working man in show business. Not only is he currently in production on the fourth season of Hulu’s Welcome to Wrexham, but he also just appeared on Abbott Elementary, and season 4 of his Apple TV Plus series Mythic Quest drops this week.

On Disney Plus, watch the new Spider-Man animated series taking liberties with Spidey’s timeline (again), and on Hulu, watch the ABC News investigative series Scamanda, based on the popular podcast of the same name.

And a new season of The Recruit starring Noah Centineo arrives on Netflix this week, as well as a second season of Mo, the series based on the life of comedian Mo Najjar.

These titles and more are coming out next week. Learn all about them below.

Things aren’t going well for CIA lawyer Owen Hendricks (Noah Centineo) when The Recruit Season 2 begins. With the devastating shooting that ended the first season still fresh in his mind, he agreed to meet Hannah abroad. This, of course, does not go well, and he is drawn into a web of intrigue and espionage in South Korea – although the bigger threats may lie within the agency itself. The six-episode second season arrives on Netflix on January 30.

If you missed the first season, Mo follows the struggles and comedic misadventures of Mo Najjar (co-creator and executive producer Mo Amer), a Palestinian refugee trying to gain asylum and keep his family together in Houston. Co-created with Rami Youssef – whose own series, Rami, features Amer as a different character named Mo – the series received rave reviews from critics and is back for its second and final season. Mo, currently stranded in Mexico without a passport, will have to use all his charm to get back to the States before his immigration hearing – and before a cunning new guy can steal his girlfriend and his falafel recipe tacos. Season 2 premieres on Netflix on January 30.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (January 29)

We all know that Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was mentored by Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark. What this series suggests is… what if he wasn’t? Officially part of Marvel’s MCU, but set in an alternate timeline, this new animated series sees Parker (voiced by Hudson Thames, who voices the character in Marvel’s What If…?) under Norman Osborn (Coleman Domingo) — a scenario familiar to comic book readers. It’s an origin story, so expect to see new variations on the famous spider bite, Uncle Ben, Doc Ock and more. Available on Disney Plus from January 29.

The clock is ticking as he tries to prove his innocence and solve the case. Starring Julian Nicholson, Chris Marshall and Sarah Shahi.
