Joe Goldberg has been encouraged with many women throughout the series: Guinevee Beck (Elizabeth Lail), Candace Stone (Ambyr Childers) and Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti), but it is his obsession to Marina Bellamy (Tati Gabriel) The lonely mom Marien met Joe in the third season at the San Francisco Library, where she works. But after learning that Joe killed her ex -husband, she runs away from the country and heads to Paris. In the end, Joe is catching up with her on a work trip to London, but he surprises her, leaving her unharmed.

Joe is still supposed to be dead in the United States, so he accepts the name Jonathan Moore and gets a job as a professor of English literature. Joe quickly comes across a group of wealthy socialites, including the director of the Kate Art Gallery, who attracts his attention. Things are scattered quickly as the group members are directed by the killer “Eat the Rich”. This has also deteriorated from the fact that Joe has his own stalker, which threatens to put him on all the murders.

Joe suspects that the killer is Rhys Montrose (Ed Spelers), a popular politician and friend of the group. When Joe is confronted with Rhys, we learn that Rhys, Joe, has talked with the whole season, is actually a figure of his imagination, a hallucination caused by stress after fighting the imaginary lynx – and the murder of a real man – it is revealed that Joe is behind the killings. He did not actually allow Marien to return home in Paris; Instead, he locked Marien in a cage and Joe believes he left her there to die. Fortunately, one of Joe’s students, Nadia (Amy-le hikman), grabs her plan and joins Marien to falsify her death. Marien receives one of the few happy endings in the show, returning home to his daughter in Paris and the danger that Joe thinks she is dead.

Joe’s mental split, as Netflix calls itis his interruption. Imaginary Rhys makes fun of Joe, urging him to surrender to his murderous desires, which he does for a moment when he killed Kate’s father’s father. But he is convinced that he is ultimately the greatest threat to her well-being and tries to take his life. He survives and at the hospital with Kate reveals part of his past. (His real name and that he has killed people. He misses that he has killed her father.) Kate is no stranger to ethical works and is still guilty of working in his father’s company. She still wants to be with Joe, saying that they could behave each other honest and try to cope better. Joe to make this promise is to embrace his dark side. He framed Nadia’s boyfriend for Rhys’s murder, and then framed Nadia for her boyfriend’s death. The season ends with Joe and Kate together in New York, recently empowered by Kate’s family money and power – and more dangerous than ever.
