In a PostThe social media company said on Tuesday that it challenged the order, claiming that the summary proceedings “powerlessly undermine our fundamental right to a proper process and threatens the rights to confidentiality and freedom of speech of our consumers.”

The challenge of accessing data depends on the European Union Digital Services ActOnline Rules that requires more platforms -such as X -to support the public interest studies of systemic risks. In this case, two civil society groups – a democracy that takes into account International and the German Civil Rights Society (GFS) – aim to study the impact of social media on the upcoming federal elections, including an investigation into the “potential manipulations” of X.

However, the challenge of X to the Berlin Court’s order of February 7 may delay or derail efforts to explore the public talk of the platform before the election – which takes place shortly on February 23.
