Why the Dollar Is Increasing Pain for European Investors

The dollar’s weakness this year is a double whim for foreign buyers of S & P 500.

“European investors are currently losing as much money on their S & P 500 holding, as they did in 2022. “The dollar’s weakness has been an additive this year, not to compensate for the loss of assets.”

The fall of the dollar is a surprise. For one, the tariffs for President Donald Trump will be stimulated, as the import tax should increase the demand of the dollar. But concerns about economic growth have been pushed instead.
