Where were the couples lifted? Every major place is explained

“Couples retreat”, comedy the ensemble, which came out in 2009 and eventually became a success (but critical flop), introduces us to four pairs (obviously) who feel more and more pain in their relationships … and everyone decides to try and recover each other, traveling to tropical analysis. Once they have discovered a resort called Eden West, which offers a group discount when one pair is engaged in three others to join, they decide to work out the adventures together.

For the first time, there is Dave and Ronnie (Vin va and Malin åkerman), who live in the suburbs of Chicago and have problems because the hard working life of Dave leads to it, as a rule, disrespectful Ronnie and her needs. Meanwhile, Joey and Lucy (John Farere and Christine Davis) are loved in high school, which both worried that they missed life experience, married and gave birth to children at such a young age. Then there is Shane and Trudy (Faizon Love – Who sued Universal over his international marketing For the film – and when the Hock), which struggles for overcoming their age difference after Shane, separated from his long -standing wife, Jennifer (Tasha Smith), to which he is still technically married. Finally, there is Jason and Cynthia (Jason Bateman and Kristen Bell), overcomed and tightly wet steaming for a child whose relationship is broken through Jason’s behavior control.

Using the therapist Eden West/founder Marseille (Jean Reno, Long way from “Leon: Professional”) and Salvador (Carlos Pons), a yoga instructor who causes all men to panic, being a beautiful cartoon, couples overcome their problems (or, in the case of Shane, understand that perhaps a girl who may not be at all). As for Eden West? This is a fictional place that came to life in the film by the French Polynesian Island Bohr.

Eden West-and its part-time resort Eden East, which is designed only for single, ready-to-mix, does not exist, so “couples retreat” using a set or resort in real life? He was actually shot at the Saint -Regis resort in Bory (Not to mention this apparently). In the real world, St. Saint Regis in Bora-Bori is an incredibly luxurious high-end resort that allows guests to stay in the pitchforks right on the water … And because it seems to offer only these villas, you will have to save if you want to stay there. (As of this spelling, the tariffs start from about $ 1,350 per night.) It makes sense that the director of the film, Peter Billingsley (yes, the same Peter Billingsley with “Christmas History”)He decided to shoot this particular resort, demonstrating it as a wonderful background for this romantic comedy.
