Doctor Who it wouldn’t be Doctor Who without its Christmas specials. Since the show returned to television in 2005, we’ve been getting them every year. This year, the tradition continues with the standalone episode Joy to the World. Nkuti Gatwa returns as the Fifteenth Doctor and joins him Nicola Coughlan of Bridgertonwho plays Joy in the episode. The cast includes Steph de Wally, Jonathan Aris, Joey Fry, Peter Benedict, Julia Watson and Niamh Marie Smith. Steven Moffat wrote the episode and, most importantly, Russell T. Davis returned as showrunner.
