When to take beta-alanine for best results

Should I take beta-alanine close to my workout?

You may also experience a common but harmless side effect when starting supplementation: beta-alanine tingling. Beta-alanine tingling, often described as an itch or slight “tingle” under the skin, is a temporary sensation that usually begins in the neck, shoulders, and arms about 15 minutes after ingestion.
If you can’t get used to the tingling sensation, you can minimize it by spreading your doses throughout the day.
