When Paris’s Hotel Lutetia Concentration Camp survived

Eighty years ago, on January 27, 1945, Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration and destruction camp was released by Soviet troops. The French survivors of the camps in the next few weeks and months made their way home. One third went through the Lutetia Hotel in Paris and passed a luxury hotel hosted by the former prisoners of the French state. Many families hoping to learn that their loved ones returned, a large number of families went. France 24’s Stefanie Trouillard and Claire Paccalin, the survivors of the camps passing through the hotel, and the survivors of a man who was killed in Auschwitz-Birkenau, the survivors of the camp.
