What you’ll find in (almost) every Hallmark holiday movie: Santa and more

The Hallmark Channel is the home of the holiday spirit thanks to its annual “Countdown to Christmas» programming — which keeps getting bigger and better.

Every year, fans get to enjoy a variety of holiday movies starring the main characters Lacey Chebert, Andrew Walker and more favorite actors. Although there are many different stories on display, there are many themes is present in every filmincluding love, family and Christmas spirit.

“These movies mean so much to me. I’m really sincere when I say that,” Schaber exclusively told Us Weekly in October 2021 “It’s not just a job, and I feel a responsibility to the audience to make the best film I can.”

So what makes these movies great? Fake snow, lights on trees and more formulaic moments that the audience and we can’t get enough, obviously. Whether it’s a man named Nick or a bow to the season through elaborate costumesthere are some things you’ll find in almost every Hallmark holiday movie.
