West Ham United could try to sign a “tailor-made” striker in January, with the manager Julen Lopetegui he needs a new centre-forward option as he looks to save his job and win back fans.
West Ham are looking to reinvest funds into a “top-notch” centre-forward.
Several reports have indicated that the Irons are back in the market for a new striker, with the arrival of Niclas Fullkrug from Borussia Dortmund in the summer not quite working out as most would have hoped.

He is also convinced the east Londoners could try to pry him away from the Amex when the winter window reopens, with Lopetegui in desperate need of an impactful new option.
“The player I’ve put in here who I think represents a worthwhile mild transfer bet is Evan Ferguson.” Jones said.
“I think it’s perfect for West Ham, and I think they could try.
“He is available on loan from Brighton in the second half of the season. The Hammers have a limited budget. At the moment, Ferguson, when you look at links, it looks like Leicester or Everton or Southampton. Go to West Ham.
“I think Ferguson is tailor-made for the job they’ve had in the second half of the season, and I won’t be surprised if that ends up coming true.”
