Watch 5 Mysterious Clips from Alien: Earth Cathedral Ship

A heavy, healthy black case arrives at my door. So when you get a package of them, you know important is about to happen.

What will happen is the debut of Alien: Land, FX’s upcoming show set years before any of the Alien Movies. Following is a team of soldiers investigating a ship that crashed on the ground and forced to deal with what it contains. We assume, of course, that it contains something that will eventually create an alien, but what exactly? The package that arrived at my door had some clues.

Along with the package was a note from a company called Prodigy Corp., she explained that the case was “recovered from a recently crashed Weyland-Yutani ship”.

“We suspect that there is important information relating to Weyland-Yutani deep space programs that could be useful for the corporation,” the note said. “Please check all items and report on your findings.” Happy to oblige.

We see one of the crew members at Hypersleep when something goes wrong. Fire. Is this the incident that started the crash back on Earth? What caused the fire? We don’t know.
