Varney: California needs Trump badly

On Monday during his “My Perception” “Varney & Co.Host Stewart Varney discussed the failure of Newsom’s California governance model and how his policies affect emergency fire response.

It is hard to imagine a worse time. Now it is obvious that the state needs Trump very much. In a week, he will be sitting in the Oval Office. He will keep the wallet. He is already tagged California politicians as “incapacitated”. He said Governor Newsom should resign. And Senator Barrasso says the federal government will provide the money.

This is an opportunity to reject what you might call the “California Model” of governance Trump has the leverage to force changes.

It has already started. Newsom suspended the environmental review process to restore damaged homes and businesses, a blow to his green dreams.

How about California as a sanctuary country?Will illegal border crossers continue to be encouraged? Will they continue to protect illegal criminals from deportation? Trump won’t be happy to see the state legislature spend $25 million opposing Trump’s policies.

But Newsom shows no sign of respecting the president-elect, he says Trump “politicized” the disaster. But the event was partly due to bad politics.Unfriendly business environment. And mandates. There is a lot to be done and Trump will get it done.

In short, politics in California is about to change.

Trump is not going to provide money if there is no change.

Look on the bright side. California’s decline may help other states abandon destructive policies. But California’s failure gives Trump an advantage…
