Valve removes a video game demonstration suspected of malware
Valve has removed a video game from its Steam online store after users announced that a free game demonstration is installing malware on their computers.
The game was called Sniper: Phantom’s resolution and promised to give players “realistic (first -person shooter) mechanics, dynamic storytelling and high bet missions”, according to Archive on his Steam pageS
First report that a free game demonstration can actually be malware, came earlier this week by several Reddit users Whoever pulls it out and analyzes it.

Valve did not respond to a request for comment.
