USDA flagged ‘insects and slime’ at Boar’s Head factories, reports show

Department of Agriculture inspectors found unsanitary conditions including “insects and slime” at businesses in Boar’s Head, a now-shuttered plant linked to last year’s deadly listeria outbreak, reports show.
The USDA released a series of noncompliance reports related to Boar’s Head after requests from several news agencies, the Associated Press reported Tuesday.
