A US-Ukrainian Framework Mineral Agreement will be signed on Wednesday after months of convenience in controversial negotiations.

The transaction, which is considered financial times, says the United States and Ukraine’s natural resource development and the joint investment fund, “it will try to create among other goals, invest in Ukraine.”

It comes after Kiev was significantly inferior to the trump card that only future military assistance would be taken, as the US investment is in the transaction.

Ukraine’s First Deputy Prime Minister, Yulia Svyrenko moved to Washington to sign the deal with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bess, according to three high-ranking Ukrainian officials.

“We think that the teams have done a good job, and the deal is much better for both countries,” said one of the Ukrainian officials.

The development would mean in the rocky relationship between Washington and Kiev after the signing ceremony of the transaction ended in February, Presidents Donald Trump and Volodimir Zelensky with a public argument.

After that clash, Trump insisted that billions of dollars were treated for former US military assistance as loans faded through an agreement, the proposal was once rejected.
