(Reuters) – A cyberattack on technology unit UnitedHealth Group ( NYSE: ) last year affected the personal information of 190 million people, the healthcare conglomerate said on Friday, making it the largest healthcare data breach in the United States.

Hacks at Change Healthcare (NASDAQ: ) affected the personal information of 100 million people, the US Department of Health posted on its website in October.

The February cyberattack on Change Healthcare was carried out by hackers posing as the Blackcat ransomware group, affecting doctors and medical practices in the US healthcare system.

“Change Healthcare is not aware of any misuse of individuals’ information as a result of this incident and did not see electronic medical databases exposed in the data during the analysis,” the spokesperson said.
