Trump joins Elon Musk in opposing the House GOP government funding bill

President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday opposed a Republican-backed government spending bill, joining Elon Musk’s crusade against the package and raising the prospect of a government shutdown.
According to a source familiar with the president-elect’s thinking who spoke on condition of anonymity to describe private conversations, Trump opposes the ongoing resolution, which has been pushed by Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson.
The source confirmed that Trump told the Fox News host that he was “absolutely against” CR.
