He added: “They want to see if they can get a pound of flesh because every job has failed, including a frustrated Jack Smith who has returned to The Hague after losing every job.”

Trump told Fox News Digital that “no one has gone through what I’ve gone through — it’s a shame.”

The president-elect later called Mercha “the most controversial judge in the history of jurisprudence.”

“There’s never been a judge more conflicted,” Trump said. “There was no job. He created a job out of nothing because he wanted my political opponent to win.”

Merchan issued a gag order to Trump during the trial and refused to lift the order.

Smith’s lawsuit against Trump alleging interference in the 2020 election was also dismissed last month, and he closed his office.

Trump has pleaded not guilty to all charges in both cases brought against him by Smith.

And last month, a Georgia appeals court disqualified Trump from prosecuting Fulton County District Attorney Fannie Willis and her team in the 2020 election meddling case.

The court did not completely overturn Trump’s indictment, but Willis and the assistant DA in his office now have “no authority to proceed.”
