Trump, Bezos sat down for dinner earlier this week

President-elect Donald Trump and Jeff Bezos sat down to dinner together earlier this week.
According to Trump’s transition team, a dinner between the incoming president and Amazon executive chairman and Blue Origin founder Bezos took place at Mar-a-Lago on Wednesday night.
Shops like: New York Post and: Washington Post reported about the meeting earlier.

Bezos’ meeting with Trump was expected. It president-elect On Dec. 12, CNBC reported that the two had plans to sit down, saying Bezos was “coming.”

“Mark Zuckerberg came to see me. I can tell you Elo [Musk] it’s someone else, and Jeff Bezos will be speaking next week,” he told the newspaper at the time.

Bezos said on Nov. 6 that “a big congratulations to our 45th and now 47th president on an extraordinary political comeback and decisive victory” when Trump was declared the winner of the presidential election.
“No nation has greater opportunity,” Amazon founder X wrote in a post. “I wish @realDonaldTrump every success in leading and uniting the America we all love.”

Recently, while attending a New York Times event on December 4th, Bezos addressed Trump’s upcoming presidency.
“He seems to have a lot of energy around deregulation, and my view is if I can help him do that, I will help him,” he told the newspaper.

Musk appeared at Trump and Bezos’ dinner on Wednesday, calling it a “great conversation,” according to The Washington Post.
Trump is meant to be take office after his inauguration on January 20. His running mate, Vice President JD Vance, will also be sworn in.
