Trump and China’s Xi spoke by phone before the inauguration
President-elect Trump He confirmed on Friday that he spoke with Chinese President Xi Jinping days before Trump took office.
“I just spoke with President Xi Jinping of China. The call was very good for both China and the United States,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“I expect that we will solve many problems together and start immediately. We have discussed balancing Trade, Fentanyl, TikTok and many other topics. President Xi and I will do everything possible to make the world more peaceful and safe!”
