Travis Kelce talks wedding season

Travis Kelce can be on the head for a girlfriend Taylor Swiftbut that doesn’t mean he’s automatically ready to walk the bridal shower during football season.

On the Wednesday, Jan. 8 episode of his popular podcast, “New Heights,” Travis, 35, and his brother Jason Kells answered a query about fall weddings as part of the No Stupid Questions segment.

“I don’t really know people who get married in the fall because all the weddings I’ve been to, my friends always do it in the summer,” the tight end said in response to a caller who revealed his girlfriend wants to get married in the fall. despite the fact that he insists he “will be at the football match”.

“You guys need to be more in sync with things,” Travis added, expressing his concern about the caller’s relationship dynamic and desire to find common ground. “You have to be willing to, you know, find an off day when the team isn’t playing anybody good.”

The Super Bowl champion went on to say that he’s “seen weddings in February, I’ve seen weddings everywhere, but fall… I’m not sure if fall is going to be a good wedding season.”

While Travis and Swift have remained tight-lipped about their own relationship plans, others in their orbit have been more than happy to share where they think the couple’s romance is headed.

U an interview with A mirror posted on Friday, January 3 former NFL cornerback and Pro Bowler Adam “Pacman” Jones said that Travis and Swift are “going to get married” this year “after football.”

Jones also floated a conspiracy theory that the pair are not in a “real” relationship. “I think they are in a real relationship,” he said. “I know Trav because he went to UC. His love is (true). When he says he’s with someone, he’s with someone.”

Of Travis’ most recent ex-girlfriend, Jones added that “he was with her and found something better and moved on.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Jones also praised the two for how their relationship boosted Travis’ standing on and off the field. “I love it,” he said. “I wish I was this smart when I was young. I mean you can see how many marketing deals he gets. You can see how many shirts he sells.”

Travis and Swift were first linked in September 2023, after the “Anti-Hero” singer was photographed at a Kansas City Chiefs game. In the interview for TIMEThe person of the year, 35-year-old Swift, spoke about her relationship for the first time.

“It all started with Travis very charmingly turning me on to his podcast, which I thought was fucking metal,” she said at the time. “We started hanging out right after that. So we had a significant amount of time that no one knew about, which I’m grateful for because we got to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple.”
