Travis, 35, and his brother Jason Kellsjoined Kylie Kells on the Tuesday, Dec. 24 episode of “New Heights” to give their reviews of the holiday classic. 32-year-old Kylie is mentioned Love really as “one of my favorite movies, period,” but Jason, 37, wasn’t entirely sure.
“Jason, you can be amazing here. I really enjoyed it love really,” Travis said, prompting Jason to clarify that “it’s not a very nice movie to watch.”
According to Jason, the film lacks the “Christmas aspect”, which is known to take place during the holiday season. “And also the general sentiment and the lessons and the general values that he teaches are absolutely terrible,” he continued. “But we’ll dig into it.”
Kylie reiterated that she was “really” enjoying the film, joking: “I can’t wait for (Jason) to sit here and watch it for the next 10 minutes.”
And that’s exactly what he did. Jason even went so far as to call Love really “the worst Christmas movie I’ve ever seen,” and Travis agreed that the story lacked a certain amount of holiday spirit.

For Kylie, Love really surpasses the way he tells multiple stories in one film. Jason and Travis began to disassemble each of these storylines in the chaotic retelling of the plot, highlighting Liam Neeson and Thomas Brodie-SangsterThe characters Danielle and Sam as their favorites. (Kylie and Jason even revealed that their daughter Ellie, 3, started blushing when she saw Sam on screen.)
While she’s a big fan of the movie overall, Kylie admitted there’s one part of the story she “doesn’t like”: Mark (Andrew Lincoln) fell in love with his best friend’s wife Juliet (Keira Knightley). Travis, meanwhile, gave the famous scene with lines his stamp.
“It’s like, an iconic way to do (it),” he said. “That’s like the most romantic way to tell someone you’re in love with them, right?”
Travis agreed with his daughter-in-law that “all these stories are connected,” but he wasn’t sure that was a good thing. “It’s supposed to look like it’s happening in the community,” he continued. “Like, it’s different love stories (and) it’s what’s going on around you. And it’s terrible because there’s so much scandal involved.”

The trio went into the rating Love really in several categories, from directing and acting to “the number of Christmases.” Jason and Kylie rated the level of Christmas spirit much higher than Travis.
“It has nothing to do with Christmas,” he teased. “You two are just trying to be generous. It’s not one I’ll be generous with.’
