Tori Spelling supports Dean McDermott in Hallmark’s Polar Opposites.

Polar oppositeswhich premiered on Saturday, leads the network “Winter Escape” program slate.. Star movie Rhiannon the fish as illustrator Emma, who hides away on an Antarctic cruise with engineer Andy (Markian Tarasyuk) in an attempt to help his sick father, who works as a researcher in an arctic country. Emma’s father was played by 58-year-old McDermott.
Spelling and McDermott married in 2004 separated after 19 years in 2024. Together they have five children. (McDermott is also the father of Jack’s son from a previous relationship.)
Earlier this week it was Spelling and the kids were forced to evacuate their home in Los Angeles due to the ongoing fires.
“A post I didn’t want to make… days of watching the destruction, watching and living in fear,” Spelling wrote via Instagram on Friday, January 10. “I did not post or share B.C. ) surprising kindness, vague losses, useful actions and requests. I didn’t want to be redundant. But last night we were evacuated.”
She added: “I tried my best to hold on and not just run run but eventually we had to. My hearts go out to all who have lost and suffered so much. But as a mama bear (with) 5 cubs and fur babies, your gut tells you when it’s time to act.”

“Friends who care have been telling me for days to pack up and make a plan. I should have listened,” she wrote on Friday. “I barely fit all of us. Without clothes. But captured the photo albums. And ran away. … @airbnb saved us! Literally! They stepped in and found something to accommodate our large family and pets that same night.”
Spelling went on to conclude that her family was “fine.”
“We are one of the lucky ones,” she added. “It looked and felt like a movie I’d seen too many times. … We are safe. Woke up in a koi pond and monarch butterfly sanctuary. Thanks, Dad!”
Tori is a daughter Candy Spelling and late Aaron Spellingwhose mansion in Los Angeles was also died in fires.
A a series of forest fires erupted in Pacific Palisades and other surrounding areas earlier this week, devastating thousands of acres of property. According to local authorities, at least 16 people died. Many residents also left their homes under mandatory and voluntary evacuation orders.
