Alan Wake 2 arrived in October 2023 with many expectations, following the fan of fan Alan Wake 13 years and two generations of the console later. Studio Remedy (Control, Quantum Break, Max Payne) created a horror game of All-Timer Survival, which really feels like the only experience you won’t find anywhere else.
Alan Wake 2 is appropriately gaining 13 years in the game after the original with a story divided between two characters: the titular horror writer Alan Wake ran into a “dark place” and “Saga Anderson”, an FBI agent, investigating strange visits to the Bright Falls area. With twin Peaks, X-Files and darker cult horror vibrations, Alan Wake 2 is an incredible game, folding in the so-called “Remedyvers”, as the Wake universe absorbs materials and characters from the control and other games in the studio composition. And if this is not spoiled for you, the game has a music number (seriously), as it has become a tradition with Remedy’s creativity, this will make you pump your fist into a tumultuous joy.
Remove the surprise of the first DLC, Night Springs extension, in the middle of 2024. The second, Lake House, comes in October 2024. They require a gap of expansion that is included in the digital or physical luxury edition – in short, just upgrade or buy Deluxe Edition.
