Tommy Lee criticizes musicians promoting their work amid the fires in Los Angeles

Tommy Lee have something to say to their fellow musicians.
The Mötley Crüe drummer shared a message via Instagram on Tuesday, January 14, taking aim at artists who promote their work on social media. against the background of wildfires in Los Angeles. Thousands of people have lost their homes and been displaced by the fires that have affected areas of Los Angeles since January 7.
“It sickens me that most people just care about posting on social media!” Lee, 62, shared. “Guys, nobody cares now if your record goes down or the next concert so many people are at the center of one of the biggest disasters of all time!”
“I understand that some comic relief is always (necessary), but Jesus Christ, leave it alone and maybe just stop and see who needs help if you can,” he added, though he didn’t name specific performers.
Lee isn’t the only star to shout out celebrities for their social media activity over the past week.

Although Osbourne, 40, did not name names, she criticized the “disturbing” trend of stars continuing to post about how they are helping victims of the bushfires, which have killed 25 people.
“Am I just being my usual over-the-top, cynical self, or do I really care to see all these celebrities using other people’s pain and suffering as a photo op to say: “I help, I do it, I do it?” she asked in a video posted via TikTok.
“I don’t believe you help because you are approached for help, I believe you just help because you want to. I’m so confused, I think it’s so wrong,” she continued. “No one asked you to come out and give me a hug, go home.”
Osborne’s comments resonate with celebrities around the world donating his time and money to eliminate forest fires. Many have done so publicly, sharing photos and videos of themselves volunteering.
Loads of celebrities, including Beyonce, Paris Hilton, Jamie Lee Curtis and Eva Longoria donated money to support organizations help with forest fires. As of Wednesday, January 15, fires in the Palisades and Eaton neighborhoods of Los Angeles have damaged or destroyed more than 12,300 structures. CNN.
