Dominic shared his admiration for how Tom and Zendaya have handled the public attention their relationship has brought in a Jan. 10 Patreon post.

The proud dad, who shares Tom, 28, and his brothers Harry and Sam, 25, and Paddy, 20, with wife Nicky Holland, believes the Spider-Man star has the perfect plan to stick to, thanks to his and Nicky’s 30-year marriage.

Much has been made of Tom taking his time planning Zendaya’s proposal, with insiders revealing that he proposed to actress Kazembe Ajama Coleman months ago.

Dominic spoke more about how his eldest son carefully planned his proposal.

“He bought a ring,” Dominic explained. “He talked to her father and got permission to propose to his daughter. Tom planned everything… When, where, how, what to say, what to wear…”

After Tom and Zendaya’s engagement was confirmed, an insider revealed PEOPLE magazine that the 28-year-old had been interested in the offer “for some time”.

According to the outlet, the couple got inked small and discreet, with Zendaya inking a “T” on her ribcage and Tom getting a “Z” tattooed on the same spot.

The tabloid also claimed that Zendaya’s mom accompanied them on a tattoo date and got her own ink.
