In Britain, “Drinking is like breaking bread,” Holland admitted. “It’s not about quenching your thirst, because quenching your thirst is survival. But drinking is living.” Taking this into consideration and reflecting on his own struggles with sobriety, Holland came up with a plan to launch a line of soft drinks called Bero.
“I definitely had to get out of situations that I felt would put me in a bad situation,” he explained. “One of Burr’s biggest inspirations has been to help people like me reintegrate into a social environment where they can feel like they don’t have to be expected.”
