Tina Knowles very supportive of her daughter Beyoncefollowing criticism of the pop icon’s much-anticipated performance at the NFL Halftime Show on Christmas Day.
The Houston-born superstar put on a thrilling show featuring songs from her latest album, Cowboy Carter, a country-genre project that has dominated the Billboard 200 for two consecutive weeks. The setlist featured standout tracks like “16 Carriages,” “Texas Hold ‘Em,” “Levii’s Jeans” and a reimagined version of “Jolene.”
Beyoncé’s performance wasn’t just about her powerful vocals and distinctive stage presence; he also brought together a talented lineup of collaborators, including Shaboozey, Post Malone, Tanner Adell and Brittney Spencer.

A few moments later Beyonce’s halftime show ended, social media was flooded with opinions, with many insulting the “Texas Hold ‘Em” artist.
“Mmmm…flags tucked into buckles touching the ground,” claimed one user X. “Awful covers of weird songs, some cues. Far from a great performance.”
Another person said: “No really, it wasn’t Christmas at all and I thought it would never end. What was that?”
“Horror… Truly a slap in the face of country. In my opinion, it’s not good,” said the third.

The show ended with the Single Ladies hitmaker dramatically climbing a scaffold above the pitch and making a gun gesture as the Bang banner unfurled behind her. Express on Thursday.

The NFL has fined players for making the same hand gesture
In response to ongoing debate over such displays, NFL executive Troy Vincent reinforced the league’s tough stance on the gestures during an October meeting, emphasizing their ban on the field. He said at the time: “This has no place in professional football. Think about where we are as a society. … I don’t think that’s where we are and what we’re trying to represent.”
After seeing the gesture, fans took to social media to ask, “Where’s the flag on Beyonce for the thimbles?!?!” and “Is the @NFL going to fine @Beyonce for guns?!”

On Friday, Dec. 27, Tina Knowles addressed criticism surrounding Beyoncé’s rousing halftime performance during the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans game at NRG Stadium. 12 minute set, now streaming on Netflixcaused a backlash, prompting the proud mother to take to social media and defend her daughter’s artistry.
Knowles began her response by sharing a fan’s Instagram post that directly addressed and criticized those who had negative comments about Beyoncé’s performance.
“Whether you like Beyonce’s music or not, this is PROOF and motivation that no matter how undeniably talented you are, people will ALWAYS ALWAYS have something negative to say,” the comment read.
Tina Knowles responded: “My feelings are true! It amazes me that you would take your precious Christmas day to watch a performance by someone you hate and don’t think is a talent, and then talk about it.”

The pop star mum added: ‘Obviously you are so obsessed with them and addicted to them and secretly admire them and want to be them that you can’t help but stare and criticize and comment and say stupid ridiculous things that make you look like a joke! ! So switch to another channel when the break comes and watch silly cartoons, or Bose the Clown, or something you can relate to and see yourself. Said with love.”
Knowles also praised her daughter’s resilience, saying, “I’ve learned so much from her fighting spirit: when they’re down, I work even harder, ‘No weapon formed against me will succeed’ one, two, three, waiting arrival of fake bots. “”
