Tiger and Charlie, a rising golf star, lost in a sudden-death playoff to two-time Masters champion Bernhard Langer and his son Jason Langerfor the PNC title on Sunday. The tournament is an annual exhibition of 36 events involving married couples, usually fathers and sons.
While Tiger and Charlie may not have emerged victorious, the weekend was still a big one for the duo. On Sunday, Charlie made his first ever hole-in-the-wall with his father there to witness.
“This is the most fun I’ve ever had,” Charlie told NBC Sports after the tournament. “On top of everything, made an ace. I don’t think I can top that. It was wonderful.”

“This is one of the biggest moments we’ve ever had,” Tiger gushed. “We talked about the hole earlier, he made his first eagle. And so he just made his first hole in one. It was a magical two-hole stretch. I am so happy for him and for the pleasure we had as a family.”
Tiger added: “It was a lot of fun, as Charlie said, it was back and forth. No one made a mistake today. We had to earn it and it was a joy.”
