Tia Mowry says co-parenting during the holidays can feel ‘lonely’

American actress Tia Maury opened up about her co-parenting and single mom life in a recent Instagram post.

Tia, in particular, is never shy about sharing intimate details of her personal life with her fans, and has been doing so ever since she became a single mother.

The mother-of-two was married to ex-husband Corey Hardrict for 14 years before announcing their separation in October 2022.

Tia took to her Instagram page on Monday to share photos of herself and her children, son Cree, 23, and daughter Cairo, 6.

Tia shared that over time, she discovered the beauty of co-parenting because it allowed her children to “build meaningful relationships with both parents.”

The actress also noted that it helped her create a space for “self-discovery, healing and rejuvenation.”

The 46-year-old mum admitted: “As a single mum, I sometimes feel the weight because our family is not like any other.”

However, she noted that being different is okay because it doesn’t mean they are less. She said that the most important thing is to “keep the traditions” for her children, because they remain a family, no matter what.

Tia ended her post with a message for those “navigating co-parenting or a new chapter” during the holiday season.

She wrote: “Know that you are not alone. Even in transitions, you can find joy. Let’s keep creating these special moments for our kids no matter what.”

She said: “Being alone was the hardest part of my divorce. In times like these, I feel and want it my sister and I were still closeand I could pick up the phone and call her. But that’s just not where we’re at right now.”

Tia’s comments sparked concern among fans about her relationship with her twin sister Tamera Maurywith whom she shot to fame when they starred in the 90s sitcom Sister Sister.

When Tia Mowry filed for divorce in 2022, she cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for her split from Corey Hardrict. However, a few months later, she shed more light on their breakup.
