Before the New Year, people set high goals for themselves. From cutting back on sugar and going to the gym eight days a week to drinking fewer cocktails, spending less money and going to bed earlier, everyone seems to have plenty of ambitions for 2025. If you haven’t set a goal yet, have fun! Your goals don’t have to be life-changing; only things you can to follow and measure.
As someone who already eats healthy (most of the time) and works out daily, my goals look a little different. Although I lead a generally healthy lifestyle, I miss it pure beauty the department is, like, very lacking. I rarely check the ingredient list of my soaps, shampoos, cosmetics, moisturizers, or dry shampoos.
Dry shampoos are especially rich in chemicals, especially sprays containing aerosol, alcohol, silicone, talc and other harmful additives. I’ve been using the same dry shampoo spray for years, but it wasn’t until I tried this powder dry shampoo that I realized how unnecessary those chemicals are. This puff works ten times better and is much better for my hair, my lungs and the environment. What a victory!
Instead of chemicals, this powder contains refreshing microstarch, biotin, copper peptides and an antioxidant-packed energy complex. support the hair without clogging the scalp. Almost all ingredients are of natural origin! And yes, it really works. In addition to instantly absorbing oil and refreshing roots, 90% of study participants noticed fuller, denser roots, added volume and less greasiness over time.
While some dry shampoos are formulated for specific hair textures and types, this fluff provides convenient refreshment for any hair, whether straight, wavy, curly, thick, thin or some combination of the above. The powder without talc and benzene is available in two shades, translucent and tinted. As a fierce brunette, I usually go for a tinted color, however, I love the sheer shades; it’s clean, mess free, blendable and versatile so I can share it with my girls when they need it!
Something else that makes this formula a mattifying must-have is the smell. It smells citrus and flowers not overpowering (if you know what i mean) and has a musky vanilla. If I didn’t know it was a dry shampoo scent, I probably would have thought it was perfume!
Before the first use, be sure to remove the inner sticker and pat the down jacket upside down several times to disperse the powder. From there, you’re ready to pat it right onto your scalp, massage it in, and watch the magic happen. This year I will live in an era of pure beauty. . . join me!
