The more lather the better—at least that’s my motto when it comes to body wash. I consider myself a body wash connoisseur: of all the beauty products that land on my desk (trust me, there’s a lot of them), I hoard every single one for myself. Even with my obsession with body washes, there are a few that have really impressed me. However, I knew that the Method was new Dream Foam body wash there was something special from the first pump.

On the topic: This $13 moisturizing body wash replaced my post-shower lotion

Just a few weeks ago, I was talking to my friends about how we find it weird when people we know don’t use lotion after showering. “They must have very well moisturized skin,” we concluded. I didn’t know we just weren’t reaching for the right body wash. I have long been a person who (…)

I usually use a gel based cleanser that requires a loofah or some serious scrubbing to create a rich lather. However, Art Dream Foam body wash lathers from the moment it sprays and coats my skin in soft moisture. Even better than the plush texture are the sublime scents. I was captivated from the first whiff of jasmine + sandalwood, an ethereal yet comforting fragrance reminiscent of my coveted Le Labo perfume.

To tell the truth, each of the fragrances can be compared to elite perfumes. Vetiver + Amber creates coziness and mood – perfect for cold winter days when you want to spend extra time in a hot shower. Tuberose + White Flowers transports me to a blooming field of wildflowers, while Sea Spray + Salt Air is calming yet energizing like the ocean.

I was under the misconception that foaming formulas are inherently not as hydrating as other textures. After enabling it’s a body wash into my routine, I know that’s far from the truth. This foaming cleanser is packed with light yet powerful moisturizing ingredients like glycerin and aloe that leave skin supple, soft and happy long after I step out of the shower. Since I started using them, I haven’t felt that dry or tight feeling – something that happens all too often after a shower in the winter. (Naturally dry skin and very dry air just don’t mix.) I still apply body lotion after cleansing to lock in moisture, but using this cleanser has also improved my moisture retention.

I was trying to wrap my head around that fact a bottle costs less than $15. The lush foaming formula combined with the luxurious scents definitely warrants a higher price tag. Not to mention, each bottle will give you 250 pumps of foamy goodness. However, I will not doubt it! If you ask me, the low price justifies buying each fragrance at once!

Start the year off right with a body product your whole family will love. As soon as you take a breath and feel the luxurious foam on you, you will be convinced that there is Method Dream Foam body wash in every soul.
