The PTW Game Services Company is rebranded as a country
PtwA 30-year-old game developer company rebrands as a country, bringing its various brands under a brand identity.
PTW started in 1994 as a pole to win, but since then it has accumulated more than 40 studios worldwide with brands, including 1518 studios, Ghostpunch Games, PTW and Side.
Although the brand is known to the game industry as a leader in audio services, Side is now gaining a new meaning, symbolizing the company’s commitment to providing avant-garde solutions side by side with its global partners in a wider range of specialists.
“For years, our company has been working as a team, as a vision leading to how we do business – I am proud that all our employees are already united under one banner,” Deborah Kirkham, CEO of Side, said in a statement. “The new brand symbolizes our commitment to the provision of innovative, adapted solutions that drive the success of our partners around the world.”
Through rebranding, Side will present its set of services through a cooperation lens, using the strengths of each business unit of unit to deliver the best in customer class and ultimately players. At the heart of the rebrand is the promise of infusion of technology with human ingenuity into all side decisions.
The country appears after a year of growth and expansion as a leader in the game development industry.
This includes his recent acquisition of Ghostpunch Games, the creation of his fifth North American studio in Charleston, North Carolina and the expansion of his international presence with new expanded studio operations in Braga, Portugal.
With over 40 studios in 15 countries around the world, SIDE -leading services include Codev, Art Production, Localization, Audio Production, quality provision, Localization QA, player support, community management and data sets.
