“Reality is completely different,” Holker wrote in the memoir, Per Page Sixth. “He handed out considerable amounts of family money and friends and spent his own drugs and his strange art collections. The tax bill he left me for the year he died amounted to $ 1 million.”

Holker also noted that she and the boss kept separate bank accounts, which ultimately left her financial burden. “I had the impression that the agreement worked great,” she wrote. “He managed his income, and I managed my own, and we divided the accounts. Easy-simple. So I thought.”
