The impeachment trial of South Korean President Yoon has begun

The impeachment trial of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol began Tuesday as the Constitutional Court reviewed his failed attempt to impose martial law. The session was adjourned a few minutes after the dismissed leader did not appear in court. Under South Korean law, at least six of eight judges must approve an impeachment.
