The cast of “Manhattan maids”: where are they now?

The movie Maid in Manhattan has been enthralling rom-com fans for the past 20 years.

In the 2002 film Marisa Ventura (Jennifer Lopez) plays a single mother who works as a maid in a posh Manhattan hotel and dreams of a better life for her son Ty (Tyler Posey). She meets Christopher Marshall (Ralph Fiennes), the heir to a political dynasty who thinks Marissa is a hotel guest. After one romantic evening together, the couple falls in love. However, once Marissa’s identity is revealed, they both realize that they both come from very different worlds.

Maid in Manhattan is based on a true story Stephen Clarkeson of the governor of New York Nelson Rockefellerwho got married Anne-Marie Rasmussena maid who worked in a family hotel in 1959.

Twenty years after the film’s theatrical release, Fiennes revealed this during filming Maid in Manhattanhe was caught with Lopez by the paparazzi and eventually acting as bait for the public to hide the early days of her and Ben Affleck relationship.

“I was framed”, Hotel “Grand Budapest”. the actor shared during an appearance in November 2022 on Watch what’s happening live with Andy Cohen. “I was invited to dinner with J. Lo, to her manager and her agent… We had a good dinner, chat-chat-chat… (Afterwards,) I think I was going home, but (we gave each other) pecks on the cheek goodnight. But somehow the shots were angled so that when she leaves, (it looks like) I’m following her.”
