CW’s Jane the Virgin was a romantic comedy inspired by the telenovela that captivated fans with its soapy plot twists and love triangles. Created Jenny Snyder UrmanThe Golden Globe-nominated TV show first premiered in 2014 and ran for five seasons before ending.

Rodriguez, for her part, played the lead role of Jane Villanueva.
