The cast of “Jane the Virgin”: where are they now?
CW’s Jane the Virgin was a romantic comedy inspired by the telenovela that captivated fans with its soapy plot twists and love triangles. Created Jenny Snyder UrmanThe Golden Globe-nominated TV show first premiered in 2014 and ran for five seasons before ending.
The cast of the series led Gina Rodriguez, Justin Baldoni and Brett Dyer in lead roles with stealing supporting performances Yara Martinez, Bridget Regan, Anthony Mendez and much more. Rodriguez, for her part, played the lead role of Jane Villanueva. In the series premiere, Jane 23-year-old virgin who finds out she is pregnant afterwards accidental artificial insemination her doctor. In a split second, Jane’s whole life changes — and so does her relationship with her boyfriend (and future husband), Michael Cordero (Dyer) and the child’s father Rafael Solano (Baldoni).
Shaw became a major hit and catapulted many members to fameincluding Golden Globe trophy for Rodriguez.

“We started filming the first season Jane in July 2014. After a few days of shooting, I turned 30 on set. Yesterday I turned 35. And today the last series, 99 and 100. Jane the Virgin. Five years. Five years of love, laughter, growth, pain, surprises, deaths, new births and so many memories,” Rodriguez wrote via Instagram in the series finale. “I will never stop creating art to bring joy and laughter into your home/train/plane ride or classroom! Art is my savior. Art is what makes me feel like I can fly. … I will always love you, Jane.”
