After two years of marriage (and decades of history), Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck on the wedding anniversary. (While Lopez and Affleck eloped in July 2022, they renewed their vows in a lavish ceremony at the Oscar-winning director’s Georgia residence the following month.)

“Time for a divorce it was a big bummer for ben“, the insider told exclusively Us Weekly at that time.

In October, Lopez talked about her attitude to the end of the marriage.

“I did all the work and look where I’m at, and then it was like my whole damn world exploded,” she said The interview magazine. “Sometimes it works out great. And sometimes it won’t be. And that’s okay too. I thought about that moment in my life and said, “I thought things were going to go wrong.”
