The best backpacks Goruck (2025): Rupees, Tourism and every day wear

Goruck GR1 (7/10, Wired Review) is the package that launches the company and the still best and most universal Goruck composition. GR1 comes in 2 sizes: 21l and 26L, I have both, but if I had to choose only one, it would be 21l. This is the ideal size for destruction, daily transfer and trips on the weekend if you are packing light. I even lived from a 21L bag (with a shoulder bag for my camera gear) during the week with a duration. It was a squeeze, but it works. The 21L GR1 is deceptively large and always looks more gear than I think it can.

My favorite thing about GR1 is its flexibility. I have used this airplane package package (wearing), rollers, tourism, camera drawing and more. I even tied it to the rear trunk of my bicycle travel bike overnight. The only warning I have is that if you use it for ruping (or tourism, or whatever you want to call it), you will sweat and this sweat will soak in the pack. It will eventually become stinking. It is easy to fix by washing with soap and water and then hang it to dry in air (never put the bag in a washing machine or dryer), but it takes some time. Be sure to plan in advance if you have a lot of elaborate and do not want to stare at the airport.

GR1 consists of three compartments. There is a well -subjected, hard laptop compartment (or slab holder when you are destroyed). There is a pocket with a corner zipper for frequently available elements in front of the pack. This happens if you have really packaged the interior, but it is useful for the wallet and passport and the like. The interior is a large compartment available from a U-shaped zipper so that the “lid” folds completely off the road and you can load it as a suitcase.

Internally, there are three rows of molls (modular loading equipment) at the top for adding pockets and organizers, along with 3 internal pockets: a large elastic pocket on the back and a zipper pocket and a small tight pocket on the lid. The outside of the back is made of a very heavy load of 1000d Cordura. The back panel and straps are 210d Cordura. The rear tissue of lighter weight is easier for less healthy (but great) fabrics like Merino woolS There are 3 rows of molent strips on the outside and on the side. This allows you to get attached to additional compartments and organizers if you wish (I save a Water Bottle Holder VanquestWho fits into Nalgen, on the side of mine. See below for more organizers and accessories). You can also use this side mall to attach a Lined belt on the hip jointS The upper handle is not only strong but also comfortable enough to carry GR1 in many ways. Also, you can remove the plastic sheet at the back of the pack if you want the back to be less hard, but I have never felt the need to do it.

If you are over 6 feet tall or just need more space in your package, 26L version It is also a great package and has a very nice extra zipper pocket at the top of the bag, where you can store the wallet, keys and other small items.
