Thai citizens returned home by Hamas 15-month
Hamas returned to Thailand on Sunday, Bangkok met with tear families at Bangkok’s waterport, which was captured for more than a year.
Those who returned in winter jackets were met with emotional hugs from their families.
“We all touch a lot to return to our place of birth … To stand here,” he said. “I don’t know what else to say, we are all really grateful.”
According to the Israeli government, Hamas servicemen were attacked at least 240 people, including Israeli and foreign citizens, including Israel’s attack. During the attack, Hamas militants killed 41 Thais and missed 30 Thai employees. That year, the first group of Thai hostages was returned.
Thailand Foreign Minister Maris Sangiampongsa, Maris Sangianpongsa, who accompanied the hostages from Israel, said they have removed their return. “It’s emotional … to return to hugs for their families,” he said. “We never gave up and this was the fruit.”
Prior to the conflict, about 30,000 Thai citizens worked in Israel’s agricultural sector, one of the largest migrant working groups in the country. About 9,000 Thais returned after the attack.
Employees come from the northeastern region of Thailand, which is the poorest village and agricultural communities in the country.
The Foreign Ministry of Thailand said that Thailand was assumed by Hamas.
“We still have hope and continue to work to return them,” Maris said that this was the bodies of the two late Thai citizens.
Hamas released 3 Israeli and five Thai citizens in a chaotic pledged in Gaza, which can delay the release of more than 100 Palestinian prisoners in Israel.
