Tennessee agencies team up to rescue injured dog from creek: video
A missing dog in Tennessee will be reunited with its family after being found injured in a creek on Wednesday.
A Tennessee Department of Transportation The agency said on Facebook that a crew was removing a tree from the 2400 block of State Route 48 in Dickson when they “heard a noise coming from a nearby creek.”
When officers went to investigate the noise, they found the injured dog stuck in a creek and called a nearby Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper for help.

A TDOT employee also returned a few hours later to donate a pallet of dog food to the shelter, HSDC reported.

“We’re told the dog is being treated and we hope he makes a speedy recovery,” TDOT said on Facebook. “Thank you to the staff who were willing and able to respond to the call for help.”
Tennessee Highway Patrol On Wednesday, he posted body camera video of the dog’s rescue on Facebook, calling him “Trooper” and asking for help to find his family.
