Taylor Swift it’s all about giving this holiday season!

The “Midnights” singer recently donated $250,000 to Operation Breakthrough, a Kansas City-based organization that helps families in need.

While Swift, 35, has not spoken publicly about the donation, the organization that received her generous gift posted about it on social media.

“Thank you @taylorswift13 for making our holiday season shine even brighter!” wrote Operation Breakthrough via X. “Your kindness and thoughtful donation of 250,000 means the world to our children and families.”

Based in Kansas City, Missouri, Operation Breakthrough helps local families in need. According to to their website“Operation Breakthrough provides a safe, loving and educational environment for children living in poverty and empowers their families through advocacy, emergency assistance and education.”

Swift’s local gift makes sense, as the pop star has been spending more time in the city since she started dating the Kansas City Chiefs. Travis Kelce in 2023.

Along with the tweet, Operation Breakthrough posted a video montage of children thanking Swift for her gift.

“Thank you Taylor for your support,” the young woman said in the video before smiling for the camera.

The video also included artwork made by the children in honor of the pop star.

This isn’t Swift’s first foray into the season of giving. She and Kelsey recently visited a children’s hospital in Kansas City, where they met the young patients and posed for pictures with them.

Swift has a history of charitable giving. After the devastation caused by Hurricanes Milton and Helen in the fall of 2024, she spent $5 million to rebuild.

Back in February 2024, Swift made another local donation to the Kansas City community. After the shooting that left one woman dead at the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade, Swift donated $100,000 to the family in two installments via GoFundMe. Kelce also donated money to the family.

According to Forbes, the “Evermore” singer’s net worth is $1.6 billion, and he reached billionaire status in October 2023.
