The battle for Pennsylvania pits the 11-2 Eagles against the 10-3 Steelers. The Eagles have won nine straight to take control of the NFC East, with Saquon Barkley playing at an MVP level in his first season in Philly. With the division all but wrapped up, the Eagles still have a lot to play for after all: They’re one game behind the Lions for the top seed in the conference and a first-round bye in the playoffs.
The Steelers have won seven of their last eight games to move two games ahead of the Ravens in the AFC North. The division remains very much up in the air, however, with the Steelers facing a tough end to the season. After tonight’s game against the Eagles, they face a game in Baltimore that could decide the division and then finish with home games against the division-leading Chiefs and dangerous Bengals.
The Steelers and Eagles kick off in Philadelphia at 4:25. ET (1:25 p.m. PT) on Fox. Here’s how you can watch even if the game isn’t available on your local Fox channel.
Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is on pace to break Eric Dickerson’s single-season rushing record of 2,105 yards set in 1984.

How to watch Steelers vs Eagles game online from anywhere using VPN
If you find that you cannot view the game locally due to misapplied blackout constraintsyou may need a different way to look at it. This is where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to prevent your ISP from throttling your speeds on game day, as VPNs encrypt your traffic. Additionally, using a VPN is also a great idea when you’re traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network and want an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.
With a VPN, you can virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to access the game. So if your ISP or mobile operator has assigned you an IP address that incorrectly shows your location in a blackout zone, a VPN can correct that problem by giving you an IP address in your correct non-blackout zone. Most VPNs, like ours Editors’ Choice, ExpressVPNare very easy to use.
Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US and Canada, as long as you have a legitimate subscription to the service you’re streaming. You need to make sure your VPN is set up properly to prevent leaks: Even when VPNs are legal, the streaming service can terminate the account of anyone they believe is circumventing properly enforced termination restrictions.

ExpressVPN has servers in New York where this game is displayed. The service is our current top VPN pick for people who want a reliable and safe VPN and it works on different devices. It’s normally $13 a month, but if you sign up for a $100 annual subscription, you’ll get three months free and save 49%. That equates to $6.67 per month.

Sunday’s Steelers vs. Eagles game is on Fox nationally. The good news for football fans is that Fox is available on most of the majors live tv streaming services. The cheapest such service is Sling TV Blue.
Sling TV’s Blue plan includes NBC, Fox, and the NFL Network, though it doesn’t have CBS, ABC, or ESPN. Enter your address here to see which local channels are available where you live. NFL RedZone is also available for an additional $11 per month.
Note that to get ABC and ESPN, you’ll need to upgrade to a similarly priced Orange plan (which drops Fox, NBC, and the NFL Network) or opt for the $60/month Orange and Blue combo package, which includes channels from both packages. With the combo plan, the Sports Extra add-on that has RedZone costs an additional $15 per month.
One important caveat: In our experience, local Fox affiliates will only be available if your billing address is in one of 18 metropolitan areas covered by Sling’s agreement. If you’re outside of one of these areas, you’re probably better off choosing one of the alternative services listed below.
A number of other live TV services also carry local Fox stations, namely YouTube TV, Hulu Plus Live TV, DirecTV Stream, and Fubo. They all cost a lot more than Sling, but they also carry a full slate of live channels, including football broadcast channels like CBS and ESPN. Check out ours guide to live tv streaming services for details.
For $83 a month, you’ll get all the major soccer channels with YouTube TV. Additionally, RedZone is available for an additional $11 per month. Include your zip code in YouTube TV welcome page to see which local networks are available in your area.
Fubo costs at least $92 per month, considering RSN fees it chargesthat you don’t need for NFL games but still have to pay for. Fubo’s basic plan costs $80, but charges an additional $12 per month if you get one RSN, or $15 per month if you have two or more in your area. RedZone is available for an additional $11 per month, and you can get 4K broadcasts with its Elite plan for $90 per month. It’s worth noting that Fubo recently introduced a new $30 first month discount on its Pro, Elite With Sports Plus, and Deluxe plans. Click here to see which local channels you get in your region with Fubo. Read our Fubo review.
All of the above live TV streaming services offer free trials, allow you to cancel at any time, and require a solid internet connection. Looking for more information? Check out ours guide to live tv streaming services.
An over-the-air antenna connected to your TV provides another option for Fox. The best part about antennas is that no streaming or monthly fees are required, although you’ll need to make sure that they have good reception.
Quick tips for streaming the Steelers vs Eagles game using a VPN
- With four variables in play—your ISP, browser, video streaming provider, and VPN—experience and success can vary.
- If you don’t see the location you want as a default option for ExpressVPN, try using the “search by city or country” option.
- If you’re having trouble getting the game after you’ve turned on your VPN and set it to the correct viewing area, there are two things you can try for a quick fix. First, log into your streaming service subscription account and make sure the address registered for the account is an address in the correct viewing area. If not, you may need to change the physical address registered to your account. Second, some smart TVs – like Roku – don’t have VPN apps that you can install directly on the device itself. Instead, you’ll need to install a VPN on your router or the mobile hotspot you’re using (like your phone) so that every device on its Wi-Fi network is now shown in the correct viewing location.
- All of the VPN providers we recommend have helpful instructions on their main site for quickly installing a VPN on your router. In some cases with smart TV services, after you install the sports app on a cable network, you will be asked to confirm a numeric code or click on a link sent to your email address in a file for your smart TV. This is where having a VPN on your router will also help as both devices will appear to be in the correct location.
- And remember that browsers can often give away location despite using a VPN, so make sure you’re using a privacy-first browser to access their services. We usually recommend brave.
