Starting today, European visitors are now required to purchase an entry permit to enter the U.K.

New rules have been allowed on Wednesday, which require European visitors to buy an online access to the UK, as the government has revised the long-term regulations for border security.

The changes, however, caused a small failure at the Gary Du Nord station in Paris, as the passengers started their trip to London.

“Until now, we haven’t had passengers,” he told AFP a member of the European Parliament’s staff.

Travelers from Europe are now needed for a digital e-travel permit (ETA) that UK officials say they are going out to promote security and entry processes.

There will be a buffer period that could take several months.

The permit can be purchased online for £ 10 (12 euros), but the price quickly rises from April 9 to 16.

ETA has already been introduced for the United Kingdom visitors to other Canadian and other visa citizens, leaving the European Union in 2020.

The head of the British border force Phil Douglas said that the recent period was part of a broader program for the world to bring ETA.

“This scheme is, in fact, a means of border security,” he said to AFP, adding that he did not expect the case to prevent the case.

The permit will increase the entry periods and will allow officials to check the information, including the history of the traveler’s immigration or criminal record, he said.

The applicant must provide a photograph of passport and their faces. According to the UK home office, the process takes about 10 minutes.

In most cases, the application is made in minutes, but the government advises to allow up to three working days.

It will be required for newborns and children, but flight passengers to cross the UK border are released after the pressure of Heathrow, which was afraid of the loss of passenger transportation through the most difficult airport in Europe.
