South Korea investigators asked the acting president on saturday to once again order the presidential security service to execute an arrest warrant for the impeached president. Yoon Suk Yeol.
On Friday, security along with military forces prevented prosecutors from arresting Yoon Suk Yeol in a six-hour standoff at Yoon’s residence. Investigators issued a warrant for Yoon’s arrest last month for briefly declaring martial law.

The Office of Corruption Investigation for High-Level Officials, which is investigating the case, said on Saturday it had again asked the country’s acting finance minister, Choi Sang-mok, to order the presidential security service to cooperate with the warrant.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Finance declined to comment.
Yonhap News reported that police asked the president’s security chief, Park Chong-jun, to come in for questioning on Tuesday.
Yoon’s Dec. 3 military declaration stunned South Korea and prompted the first arrest warrant for a sitting president.
