Lil Kim is sending prayers to Los Angeles amid wildfires
On Tuesday, January 14, Lil Kim dropped by X (formerly Twitter) to send prayers to everyone affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles. As The Shade Room previously reported, a host of celebrities, including Jenni Aiko, Paris Hilton, Keyshia Cole, Billy Crystal and Mandy Moore, lost their homes in the Palisades fire.
“Sending up strong prayers for Los Angeles and everyone affected by the fires. It’s heartbreaking. I pray to Jesus that God will make monsoons in Los Angeles.” Lil Kim wrote. She also added the caption “#PrayForLA” to her post.

Well, even though Kim’s heart was in the right place with her message, a bunch of social media users dragged her on X. Many people pointed out that while her intentions were good, her message missed the mark. Some thought she was calling for an end to one disaster, but was inadvertently starting another.
