Snoop Dogg Responds To Trolls Who Went Off About His Performance
If you need a refresher, The Shade Room recently reported that Snoop Dogg took the stage at the first-ever Crypto Ball, ostensibly in honor of Donald Trump. The event took place two days before his inauguration on January 20. Now it seems like Snoop is addressing the people who had a problem with his performance at the ball.
On Sunday, Jan. 26, the West Coast legend hopped on Instagram Live, rocking out to gospel music while driving in a car with weed in hand—his usual vibe.
As the rapper hit the high notes to the gospel tunes, he immediately said that he only responds to all the hate he feels with the word “love.”
“Today is Sunday, man, I have the gospel in my heart. Despite all the hate, I will respond with love. You can’t hate me, I love too much,” Snoop said.
As he continued to jam, he told people to stop stressing about his life.
“Get your life together, stop worrying about mine. I’m cool. I am together. Still a black man. Still 100% black. All until you get out of the ball or until you get knocked out,” Snoop continued.
Social networks weigh
Ugh, cool! Snoop Dogg’s comments didn’t help at all because social media users tuned out Shade Room Comments again. People still called him out on his decision and said they were disappointed in him.
Instagram user @soaveladulce wrote, “We’re not saying you weren’t black. We said you’re selling.”
Instagram user @shasummerlinofficial wrote, “Zero hate. 1000% disappointing.”
While Instagram user @crystal.crave wrote, “We know you’re black, have you forgotten you’re black?”
Then Instagram user @yvetteson86 wrote, “You can vote for whoever you want. You can perform for whoever you want. However, if your words and your actions are at odds and you are flipping, then people have every right to call you out on it. This life is a compromise.”
Another Instagram user @k.haleb wrote, “It’s embarrassing, uncle won’t lie.”
Instagram user @please write “We don’t hate Snoop, we’re disappointed.”
While another Instagram user @breezega wrote, “A black man who likes to support a white man who tries to whitewash black people from American history.”
Instagram user @alkaline_fairy wrote, “But you were worried about everyone else’s lives when you called them jiga-boos, so that makes sense.’
Finally, Instagram user @yourfavekeesha wrote, “In your own words, anyone who supports Trump is a sellout. You condemned yourself 😂”

Snoop wasn’t the only one to take the Crypto Ball stage in Washington, DC Soulja Boy and Rick Ross also performed and were dragged along with Snoop on social media for their performances.
The main reason the internet and fans blasted Snoop for performing at the Crypto Ball was because he had previously said he wasn’t partying with Donald Trump. Also, after Snoop got heat for appearing at the Crypto Ball, he continued to trend as a clip of him clowning everyone who spoke at Trump’s first inauguration went viral. In the video, Snoop says, “So will no one speak for Donald Trump? Which of you will do it first? I’m waiting, I’ll roast you. Uncle Tom, f***, which one of you will do it first?
