Smriti Mandhana rose to 2nd in ODI and 3rd in T20 rankings
Indiathe opening star Smriti Mandhana has moved up to 2nd in the ICC Women’s ODI batting rankings. He has also secured the 3rd position in the T20I rankings. His constant actions against Australia and the West Indies they have been fundamental in his journey.
Mandhana’s stunning knock of 105 runs in the final ODI against Australia in Perth. In the 1st T20 against West Indies, Smriti scored a crucial 54 runs for the Navi Mumbai team. He showed his class and ability to anchor ghr Innings under pressure.
Other Indian players shone in the ICC rankings
While Smriti Mandhana grabbed the limelight, other Indian players also made significant gains in the latest ICC rankings update.
Harmanpreet Kaurthe India captain, entered the top 10 in the T20I batting rankings. Jemimah Rodrigues moved up six places to 15th thanks to her brilliant 73 in the first T20I against the West Indies. Deepti Sharma she moved up to second in the T20I bowling rankings and retained her reputation as a top player. Arundhati Reddy is now at 51st place after an impressive performance on 4/26.
