Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens looked excited about his latest game!
The Chicago Bears may not have won against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday, Dec. 16, but Owens, 29, got a consolation prize: a sweet kiss from his Olympic gymnast wife.
Clip general via ESPN’s social media and SportsCenter from Monday’s game at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis shows Biles, 27, joining her husband on the field for a sweet hug. “I love you,” she is heard telling Owens.
The seven-time Olympic gold medalist looked stylish for the game, wearing an all-black ensemble including thigh-high black boots, a fur coat and a fur hat.
Earlier in the day, Biles also shared clips through her Instagram stories as she shares a cocktail before the game Torrie Brownwho is married to the team’s tight end Marcedes Lewis.
Biles and her man, who wed in April 2023, previously packed a PDA she attended a Bears road game against the San Francisco 49ers on Dec. 8. On the eve of the match, Owens met with Biles on the sidelines, where they wrapped their arms around each other’s waists and hugged.
Olympic gymnast and Bears safety have been dating since 2020, first meeting and dating via Raya dating app. At the time, Owens had no idea how famous Biles was.
“(I) was on (the Raya dating app) for a couple of days and then she popped up. I’m like, ‘Let’s see who it is,’” Owens reminded during a December 2023 appearance on “The Pivot” podcast. “I never really paid attention to gymnastics, so it piqued my curiosity (and) I said, ‘I’ll see what happens.'”
At the time, Owens was playing for the Houston Texans, not far from Biles’ practice facility.
Over the summer, Biles became the most decorated US gymnast in Olympic history during the 2024 Paris Olympics, taking home three gold medals and a silver, bringing her total to 11. She went into the Olympics with seven medals, tying Shannon Millerwho participated in the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games.
After winning gold in the women’s pole vault in August, Biles did not rule out potential competition again at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
“Is this my last? Definitely (my last) double blow of Yurchenko,” Biles quipped during a press conference on August 3. “I mean, I kind of nailed it. … The next Olympics is at home (in Los Angeles). So you just never know. But I am getting very old.’
